Phra Nakhon

Highly recommended for authentic flavors and great service, despite a minor seating hiccup. The food here is absolutely amazing. We ordered the som tum, pomelo salad, and an authentic Thai soup. Every single dish hit the mark with incredible, vibrant flavors. If you are looking for truly excellent, high-quality Thai food, this place delivers. The service was top-notch. I want to give a special shoutout to Khun Tum, who was exceptional. He took the time to thoroughly explain the food and the ingredients to us, which really elevated the whole dining experience. The only downside to our visit was the initial arrival. We had booked a table in advance, but when we arrived, it wasn't set up. The table was a bit dirty and had quite a few bugs around it, which made for a slightly unpleasant first impression. However, I completely understand that this is an outdoor seating area (right by the river), so bugs are somewhat inevitable. To their credit, the staff handled it perfectly—they were incredibly fast to clear the bugs, wipe everything down, and get our table properly set up. Despite the slightly bumpy start, the staff's quick recovery, combined with the phenomenal food and Khun Tum's wonderful service, completely won us over. I will definitely be returning!

It's 10/10 restaurant. A must visit place when in Bangkok. Food is amazing, the staff is the kindest and atmosphere is awesome. Might feel pricey but think how much you spend for foodin resteurants back home :)

We had dinner at Phra Nakhon at Capella Bangkok and absolutely loved the experience. The evening atmosphere is beautiful and serene, especially by the river, making the dinner feel intimate and special. The Thai dishes were excellent and clearly the highlight of the meal. We chose to focus more on Western dishes this time; they were good and well-executed, though not particularly wow. That said, it’s understandable, as Phra Nakhon is a restaurant that truly shines with its Thai cuisine. The service was warm, professional, and attentive throughout the evening. Overall, a wonderful dining experience in a stunning setting, especially if you’re there for Thai food.
