The food here is very delicious. Such authentic Thai food! They offer a wide variety of selections. But their signature is chicken rice with sweet sauce! The price is reasonable and affordable. Highly recommended!

If you love “stewed chicken” here is the BEST authentic place for, deserves all Michelins years of recommendations. Perfection with a simple dip of vinegar, coriander & crunchy green chili cut. I top of plain white rice or egg noodles are delicious. I took my boys to other shop for this at Siam since 2000’ & he too likes this recipe at Poonlerd more. Tried beef & prawn too but llove stewed chicken most. Rice quality not the best only one point should improve for 5 stars

You can park along the side of the road or at Wat Phlabphlaichai. If you go on a weekday during the day, expect to wait in line about 3-4 groups. The taste of the food is not that appealing for us. Personally, I was a bit disappointed with the chicken rice, as the chicken was quite chewy. But the crispy noodles with chicken gravy was quite good.
