Had my first dinner at Raruek, and it certainly won't be my last! The beef tongue paired with that rich egg yolk sauce was absolutely fantastic—a total highlight of the meal. The atmosphere is super cozy, making it a great spot to relax. Plus, the prices are surprisingly reasonable, especially for being right in the heart of Ekamai. Highly recommended!

The food tastes great—whether I visit once or several times, I’m always impressed. The flavors are consistently good, and it keeps bringing me back. :) The staff service is also excellent, and the prices feel fair and reasonable. Overall, it’s a place I genuinely enjoy and would recommend.

This place made you feel like you're having dinner with friends in the retro house with their wooden furniture and l like the old wine bottles reused as flower vases decorated all around the house. They serve their carpaccio with thin sliced picanha, seasoned with a hint of salt and pepper and oil. The spaghetti carbonara is served with a big piece of medium-rare grilled picanha sliced. The sauce is creamier after being mixed well with fresh egg yolk. The meat inside the Beef Wellington is also tender and warm pie. We tried the sando, a sandwich with a chunk of juice steak meat served with flavorful gravy. I also love the grilled beef tongue that comes with 2 style dip sauces; the spicy herb one and egg yolk soy sauce.

Firstly. The restaurant itself is charming. And it has parking which is a bit rare. The steak was OK I had the ribeye. The steak tartare was confusing. Overly spicy and instead of a brioche or bread , they used nacho chips. Really weird. Also raw garlic was in it which was very odd indeed. The balance was completely off. Too spicy and too sour. The Caesar was decent. The worst part was service. Literally talking to the waitress and saying “medium rare” while she repeats “medium well”. I said medium rare again. Then she repeated medium well. She ended up bringing the iPad to show me how I wanted the steak cooked. I’m Asian. But I’m an American. Unless I’m speaking Swahili, the difference between rare and well shouldn’t have to be this hard. The other waitress was unfortunately useless. Literally could not understand a word of what I was saying. Literally zero. I was saying “tiramisu” and she had no idea what I was saying. Then the other waitress tells me she doesn’t speak English. That’s weird. It’s not like I’m saying vocabulary that’s outside of this restaurant. I would’ve thought “tiramisu” would have been easily understood. Reminded that the waitress doesn’t speak English , I replied that tiramisu is t an English word and it’s literally in the menu. This was my first time here. The saving grace here was the food but again the tartare was totally horrid. I do suggest the owner invest in some functional English lessons for their waitresses. Literally the vocabulary of the restaurant. Also it’s clear to me that the waitress wasn’t Thai. Clearly from Myanmar.
