About

Kaisugi Ramen in Sukhumvit serves a Tonkatsu Shoyu bowl topped with pork cutlet — a rich broth that stays balanced rather than overly salty. The duck karaage and gyoza make solid sides, and the staff are helpful for first-timers working through the menu.

The food here is just delicious, literally every menus we ordered! Tonkatsu Shoyu Ramen, topping with pork cutlet and rice with gyozas as sides. Their duck meat Karaage is also tasty! Staff are helpful and friendly.

I found this place through google map on “ramen” recommendations, and I was pleasantly surprised! The staff were all so friendly and welcoming. I tried their lunch set, which was incredibly good value at 399+. I got all the appetizers, ramen, drink, hand roll, and ice cream. I think they’ve adapt the flavors to suit the local taste. The soup wasn’t too salty or creamy, which was a nice change from traditional ramen. It’s located in Sukhumvit 39, and there’s plenty of parking available. If you’re a ramen fan, you won’t be disappointed!

After searching for a well-reviewed ramen spot, Kaisugi Ramen truly did not disappoint. The ramen was rich and flavourful without being overly salty, making it enjoyable from the first bite to the last. The other dishes were also tasty and well prepared, adding to a well-rounded meal. Service was another highlight — the staff were attentive, friendly, and made us feel well taken care of throughout our visit. Overall, it was a very satisfying dining experience. A solid choice for anyone looking for quality ramen paired with good service. 🍜✨

I think this is a place you come just to eat ramen. We tried the 2-hour 1,500 THB course, which includes all-you-can-drink plan. I understand that you can’t expect too much at this price point, but overall, we were not so satisfied. The food other than ramen was average. The fresh spring rolls and gyoza were probably the better items, but everything else was just okay. The salmon carpaccio tasted strange, possibly due to the seasoning, and had an odd smell, so I couldn’t eat it. The signature soupless tantanmen was nothing special and failed to impress, perhaps because I expected too much. I wouldn’t come back just to eat that. On the other hand, the tonkotsu ramen ordered by others in our group was quite good. What really disappointed us was the poor service. The staff seemed completely unaware of what was happening at our table. •When we entered, not all members of our group had arrived, so for the first hour we ordered a la carte instead of starting the course clearly telling it to a staff. However, when we tried to order more drinks one hour after the course officially started, a staff member told us, “Your time is over — you can’t order any more drinks.” (It was a different staff member from the one we spoke to earlier) We explained that we still had one hour left, but they insisted, “It’s been two hours since you entered.” After a lengthy explanation, they finally understood and allowed us to order. The restaurant should properly track the course start time and communicate it among the staff. •A bowl placed on the table at the beginning which we assumed was for ramen was suddenly taken away just as the ramen was served. I have no idea what the bowl was for. They also cleared away the bowl for edamame shells before we were done eating them. •As one of the course menu, they served six pieces of gyoza for a group of four. When we asked, “How many per person?” the staff said they would bring more. They brought three more. A total of nine pieces. Why? •The condiments that were originally on our table had been moved to another table by the time our food arrived, so we had to go and get them ourselves. Overall, the lack of awareness and confusing service was frustrating. If the experience had been good, we were considering using this place for future company dinners, but it’s a fail. We might come back just for the ramen.
