I recently had a chance to dine at Coda Restaurant. The overall food really impressed me because every dish clearly reflected the identity of Thai cuisine. You can genuinely feel what each Thai dish is meant to be. My favorites were Lhon, Pad Cha, Somtum and the main dish which was Duck. These were outstanding in both taste and presentation. The only dish I felt unsure was Abura Bouzu which tasted a bit plain and greasy. It was slightly difficult to finish. Moreover, I think the experience would be even better if there were a sour palate cleanser at the end to conclude the meal with refreshing. The service was excellent. There’s really nothing to complain about. The staff were attentive, professional and clearly knowledgeable about the dishes. What stood out to me was that the staff member explained the dishes in his own unique tone and personal style which maybe it made more difficult to fully catch or follow the explanation. Maybe it was the good effort and intention behind but if the explanation was loud, clear and deliver the message so I don’t mind his own style. For the atmosphere, it met the expectations of a high-standard Michelin restaurant. The environment felt elegant and well designed. It was slightly dark especially on the second floor but it didn’t affect the overall experience.

I had a wonderful lunch at Restaurant CODA today and it was truly an elevated Thai fine dining experience. The 8-course tasting menu was beautifully curated, combining Thai ingredients with refined modern techniques. Every dish was thoughtfully presented and balanced in flavor. Highlights for me: • The cuttlefish with squid ink and caviar – elegant and full of umami • Pad Cha lobster – aromatic with wild galangal and basil, very refined • Duck with roasted apple tartin – perfectly cooked with a rich, glossy sauce • The coconut dessert with caramelized palm sugar and pandan – light, fragrant, and a perfect ending The plating was minimalist yet artistic, and each course felt like a story unfolding. Service was attentive, professional, and well-paced without feeling rushed. If you appreciate modern Thai tasting menus with precision and creativity, CODA is definitely worth visiting.

Thai cuisine with bold, intense flavors, beautifully presented, and delicious in every course. The service is excellent. The wine selection is quite limited, and the price may feel a bit steep compared to the portion size of each dishes. However, the meal ends with free flow duck boiled rice to finish, so you’ll definitely leave feeling full.
