  If you’re trying Thai food for the first time, or you have foreign friends who want to experience a more polished Thai restaurant, this is a place I’d happily recommend. A lot of things are well balanced here — the clean interior and exterior, pleasant atmosphere, tasty food, and friendly staff who are happy to guide you through the menu. The prices are also quite reasonable compared with other restaurants in the area. The dishes themselves may be familiar Thai classics that you can find almost anywhere, such as crab curry with egg, stir-fried clams, and morning glory. However, I thought all three were particularly well done here. I’ve visited around three times, and the restaurant was quite busy every time. Despite that, I rarely had to wait for a table. I noticed a mix of embassy staff, foreigners, and local customers, which I think says something about its broad appeal. On one visit, the indoor area was a little noisy, so I chose an outdoor table instead. The staff were thoughtful enough to bring me a fan, which made the outdoor seating very comfortable. It’s especially good for groups or gatherings, and I’d recommend it to anyone who is new to Thai food or wants an easy, comfortable introduction to Thai cuisine. And as a bonus, Lumphini Park is right next door, so it’s perfect for taking a walk after your meal.

  4 stars – A Bangkok favorite for our family Rongsi Pochana has become our go-to seafood spot whenever we’re in Bangkok. The grilled river prawns are consistently excellent — sweet, smoky, and full of roe. The steamed fish with chili-lime-garlic sauce is a must-order; the broth is punchy and perfectly balanced. Grilled squid was fresh and simply done, and the stir-fried morning glory and greens rounded out the meal nicely. The blood cockles, unfortunately, were a bit of a letdown this visit. Beyond the food, the space itself has real character — industrial warehouse styling with great lighting and design touches that make it feel special without being pretentious. Portions are generous and clearly built for sharing, which makes it ideal for family visits. Still a place we’ll keep coming back to when in town — just skipping the cockles next time.

  Gongsi Pochana is a solid spot for a satisfying Thai meal. The food was tasty, portions were very generous, and the pricing felt excellent for the amount served. Great value for money, especially if you re sharing with friends.

  The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, making it a great place for both family gatherings and entertaining visitors. Service was attentive despite the restaurant being busy, and the overall dining experience was not too bad. Taste of food was just ok and nothing to shout about. Prices are on a steep side though. Corkage charge for wine was THB500 per bottle.
