One of the best foods we have ever been to in Bangkok. Truly deserves its Michelin Star. Got to meet the 2 twin chefs at the very end which was very special too. A true culinary experience we will never forget. The staff was amazing.

I really wanted to love this one. The food quality is undeniable. Every plate looked like it belonged in a museum. The caviar dishes were beautiful. The presentations were dramatic in a good way. You can tell there is serious talent in that kitchen and the artistic design is top tier. But here’s the honest part. For a three star price point, the service felt very average. Friendly, yes. Warm enough. But average. Courses came out fast, almost rushed, like we were on a timer. And no amuse bouche at this level just felt odd. It’s not fatal, but it’s noticeable when you’ve done a lot of one and two stars that feel more polished and more intentional. We booked kitchen seating and ended up at a table set back with no view of the kitchen. That was genuinely disappointing. If you’re going to select kitchen, you expect to actually see the kitchen. It is very expensive. Think roughly $750 to $1.000 per person with wine pairing, so go in knowing exactly what you’re signing up for. Parking is taxi or Grab. Easy enough in Bangkok. Would I return? No. Not because it was bad. It wasn’t. It just felt very expensive and very average relative to the hype and the stars. I’ve had better one and two star experiences that felt more special, more dialed in, and frankly more memorable. Overall I’m at a 4.5 that I’m rounding down to a 4. Beautiful food. Service below what I expect at this level, but nothing catastrophic. If you go, manage expectations and manage the bill.

Lunch at Suhring was a meaningful and unique experience. From the moment you walk through the gates you are enveloped in the serenity of the beautiful garden and home. There is an authenticity and heart here that stems from this being the actual property the Suhring family reside on. Every dish arrives meticulously prepared and presented. Right down to the smallest detail. The expression “German engineering” is not hyperbole. In harmony to this precision and artistry, every bite carries a balance and depth. We decided to go for the juice pairing which was matched perfectly to every course. The juices are concentrated and aromatic. The service team was highly professional and attentive whilst giving us and other diners time to enjoy the moment. In particular we want to thank the General Manager Martin. He personally checked up on us throughout the visit and kindly gave us a tour of the kitchen. Have had the pleasure to meet both Thomas and Mathias, they”re calm nature and humbleness is felt throughout. Many thanks for this amazing experience of German cuisine and sharing with us a part of your world ❤️🙏
