About
A Silom Thai restaurant where dishes like squid-ink fried squid, softshell crab papaya salad, and layered curries reflect genuine kitchen craft. The flavours are unmistakably Thai — aromatic and composed — without leaning on spectacle.

Our family and friends of 11 dined at the Saffron last night. We ordered tom yoong soup, softshell crab green papaya salad, fried squid( the squid ink sauce was sooo yummy ) red beef curry, green chicken curry, sea bream, morning glory, and mixed vegetables. All were delicious, fresh ingredients with great sauce. The four different kinds of rice were good to go with the dishes. We would totally recommend friends to come dine here. Our server Namlos S. was super helpful!

Saffron delivers an exceptional Thai dining experience that strikes a rare balance between authenticity and accessibility. The flavors are unmistakably Thai—aromatic, layered, and thoughtfully composed—yet calibrated so international guests can enjoy them comfortably. For Thai diners, spice levels can be adjusted on request, allowing the cuisine to retain its true intensity without dilution. My dining experience is structured as a course-based menu, guiding guests smoothly from appetizer, soup, salad, main course, to dessert. This approach elevates the meal beyond casual dining, creating a cohesive and refined culinary journey. One particularly impressive detail is the presentation of steamed rice, which is treated with the same respect as the main dishes. Guests can choose from four carefully selected rice varieties: • Saffron rice • Rice berry • Brown rice • Jasmine rice This thoughtful offering highlights the depth of Thai food culture, where rice is not merely a side dish, but a central element of the dining experience. The atmosphere is elegant yet understated, featuring clean design lines and a serene ambiance complemented by sweeping panoramic views of Bangkok and the Chao Phraya River. It’s a setting that feels luxurious without being overstated—confident, calm, and well-balanced. Service is delivered at a true five-star level. The staff are attentive, professional, and genuinely warm, with precise timing and an intuitive understanding of guest needs throughout the meal. A must-not-miss highlight is the restaurant’s signature dessert, Saffron Khao Niew Mamuang (mango sticky rice). Beautifully presented and perfectly balanced in sweetness and texture, it offers a refined interpretation of a beloved Thai classic and provides a memorable conclusion to the dining experience. Saffron preserves Thai culinary identity at 100% while presenting it in a globally refined, five-star format. An outstanding choice for international guests and discerning Thai diners seeking authentic Thai cuisine in an elevated setting.
