About
The building transports you before the food does — Vietnamese decor done with care on Sukhumvit. Dishes are sharply flavoured and portions work well for sharing. Busy but not overcrowded, with staff who keep pace.

From the moment you see the building you're transformed to Vietnam. The atmosphere, staff and food brought us back to Vietnam. We came for early dinner and were seated right away in the comfortable window seat. The staff was kind and helpful as we couldn't decide what to order. The menu was loaded with traditional Vietnamese favorites from all across the country. The coffee was so delicious. Perfect pick me up. They had a wide range of drinks choices too! We started with fresh shrimp and pork spring rolls and fried spring rolls. They were incredibly delicious and tasty. We ordered Bun cha, one of our favorites and a Vietnamese pancake. Both were full of flavors and filled with fresh ingredients. I already know we'll be going back when we're craving Vietnamese food!

Everything we had was so good! Went here after a workout class and was starving. Had 4 dishes shared among 2 pax and it was just nice. Place was busy but didn’t feel overcrowded, decor was reflective of Saigon vibes. Highly recommend this place.

A nice Vietnamese dinner in cozy yet convivial setting in Sukhumvit 49. The beef pho was such a highlight of my meal. The flavours were fresh and well-balanced, with the nicely prepared and executed beef bone broth and complemented by zesty limes, chilli and fresh basils. Beyond the pho, the chicken bahn mi was enjoyable and so was the fried spring rolls, although it may be a little hard to consume in large amount because the oily aroma I find it to be quite heavy. Beyond the delicious food, the service is hospitable and the staff were helpful with recommendations and dishes to enjoy together. The ambiance is a blend of contemporary interiors with majority of Vietnamese elements and furnishings. I would definitely recommend trying this place if you appreciate freshly prepared and flavourful Vietnamese cuisine in Bangkok.

Negative Reviews
If you have ever been to Vietnam (specifically Hanoi), this restaurant would be an utter disappointment. Looking at the great reviews and Michelin recommendation, we booked our hotel near Saigon ensuring we can have multiple meals here. My wife and I love Vietnamese food to an extent that calling dishes here authentic would be grossly unfair. Don't get me wrong, food is edible, pricing is good but there's no taste. It's just bland. Maybe because of Thai culture or westerners who can't handle tangy spicy taste. If you are a fan of authentic Vietnamese food, please don't ruin your experience as we did. Good things: -Staff is polite -Atmosphere is cozy, easy-going -Menu is priced well -Drinks are good -Nice neighbourhood As this review ends, so does my search for authentic Vietnamese food in Bangkok.

We ordered 4 dishes and 2 drinks. Food was generally alright in taste, but amount of proteins was very little compared to everything else. Obviously, having a large quantity of fresh, raw vegetables is a big plus, but it doesn’t compensate for the meat or seafood (shrimps). Fresh pineapple and lemongrass juice were good. Unfortunately, there were quite a few mosquitoes inside the restaurant.
