Sala Rossa

We were extremely impressed with the food, the service, and the attentiveness. Super surprised it was a quiet restaurant. We got the ribeye, muscles, and the carbonara and all of them were amazing. Air was our server and was amazing and SO kind. The rest of the staff there tonight were also amazing. If we had more nights to stay here we would definitely be back.

We had an absolutely wonderful evening at Sala Rossa! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The food was delicious – fresh, perfectly seasoned, and beautifully presented. The pasta in particular was amazing! The starters were just as impressive. The service was attentive, friendly, and warm without being intrusive. We felt welcomed and well taken care of from the moment we arrived. The ambiance is stylish, cozy, and special at the same time – perfect for a relaxed evening with great food and wine. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place! 🍝🍷✨

I went to Sala Rossa for a simple Saturday dinner. For a 4.8 rating Italian restaurant, I thought Sala Rossa would be busier, but there were less than 10 patrons when I arrived at 8pm. I started with a Minestrone. It was simple and light. It could have been dull, but the side olive oil and herbed tomatoes with added splash of olive oil brought it to another level. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I decided on the Chef’s special: Seared Scallops Aglio Olio Linguine. Unsure if it was fresh pasta, but it was al dente, with a good bite, and I thoroughly enjoyed it — again, with added splash of olive oil. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (The Lobster Pasta was priced at 4,000 Baht, way above what I thought was reasonable.) Washed down with a Mai Tai. The cocktails menu lacked anything Italian. The waiters could not custom make me an Amaretto and lemonade. The Mai Tai was good, although I wished it was garnished more than just a slice of lemon. 👍 I finished my dinner just over half an hour… 😂 It felt more like a fast food experience, rather than dining in a restaurant. If I had more time and a bigger stomach in BKK, I would return again to try Sala Rossa’s other offerings.
