Shikiya Izakaya

A very tasty restaurant. I don't think I've ever had such good sushi. I tried the signiture meat plate and a sushi roll. The service was great, I felt very comfortable and ate very well. Give it a try, and if you like truffles, try the white truffle sauce. It suits very well with the meat. :)

Great Izakaya! We went on a Sunday, so it was quieter than usual, but they have fantastic weekend drink deals—how awesome is that? The food is top-notch: fresh fish, perfectly cooked meats, and tasty sides, all with friendly service. I’ll be back—on a Friday this time, to enjoy the full Izakaya vibe, even without the drink specials.

Food is great, not a dish that we don’t like. Drinks are generally creative, even sakes and umeshu’s (plum wine) seem carefully sorted. Our personal highlight is the green tea umeshu, the flavor is a good combination between those two and very easy to drink - it’ll be finished before you notice. Staffs are friendly and very helpful. Atmosphere is fun and the lamp on the table makes any pictures look instagramable. Good vibe overall!
