Delicious Chinese restaurant at Grand China hotel. Quality dimsum, big portions size at decent price. The restaurant is perfect for big groups and young kids. They have children chair and plating. The signs has to be their CNN pecking duck. Some of our kids has never tried pecking duck before and they absolutely love it! The restaurant has limited parking space, so ensure to book for reservation and parking

Situated in Bangkok China town, The Grand China Hotel is home to Siang Ping Loh, a cozy Chinese restaurant serving amazing dim sum amongst its famous pecking duck. The variety of dim sum and the scrumptious flavours offered are only second to its flavourful crispy pecking ducks, served with its steamy wraps and a sweet/tangy sauce. Services are fast, tentative and friendly, creating a nice cosy atmosphere, perfect for a large family gathering or a more casual dining with friends and family. Recommend for all looking to experience some proper dim sum in China town.

I wouldn't call myself a regular, but whenever I crave dim sum, this is usually my go-to spot. However, my last visit was very disappointing. The quality of the dim sum has declined, yet the prices remain high, making it feel overpriced. The service is generally good, with most of the waitstaff being friendly and attentive. However, the restaurant manager...seems to pick and choose whom she greets. This feels inappropriate, as all customers pay the same price and deserve equal treatment. She always looks the other way when she sees me and some other customers...maybe because I have too many tattoos or because I don’t meet her standards. It would be better if she changed her mindset...being in a hospitality industry.
