It’s been a while since my last visit to Somboon Seafood, and this time I dined at their Ratchada outlet—and I’m happy to report that time has been very kind to them. Service was attentive and genuinely thoughtful. A special mention goes to a senior staff member wearing a mask and glasses, who quietly observed our table and stepped in to help crack the crab shells when he noticed we were struggling. That kind of proactive, unprompted service is rare and deeply appreciated. As for the food, the standards remain impressively consistent, just as I remember from 6–7 years ago. The crab with bee hoon is still an absolute must-order—rich, fragrant, and deeply satisfying. The other dishes we ordered were equally delicious, reaffirming why Somboon continues to be a benchmark for Thai seafood. Consistency, quality, and service with heart—Somboon still delivers.

The best curry crab in the city! This place is not the original one, which, in my opinion, has better taste. However, this place is still decent. The price can be on the high side

Really disappointed, completly waste of money and time! Many servers, but noone really cared. -1p I took a crab meal with the shell, that was a mistake, there is not so much meat, if I don'ask they do not give the tool to break it. Anyway the food was swimming in oil, so your job is already really difficult to open it up. -1p No flavour, there is nothing special about this course as being the recommended one... -1 for all this such a high price Overall I was really disappointed, could not wait to leave the place, which is really sad as I am using mainly Michelin as a recommendation, this is the first happened to me in one month.
