Stepping into Somyong Tumsua 2 (สมยง ตำซั่ว 2) was a delightful surprise. Tucked away from the usual tourist crowds, this traditional Thai restaurant offers an authentic culinary experience that truly stands out. The atmosphere is unpretentious and inviting, reflecting the true spirit of local dining. Each dish we tried was bursting with vibrant, genuine Thai flavors, clearly prepared with care and traditional recipes. It’s the kind of place where you taste the heritage in every bite, far removed from the more commercialized establishments. If you're seeking an unadulterated taste of Thailand in a charming, less-discovered setting, Somyong Tumsua 2 is an absolute must-visit. It’s a true hidden gem.

Tom Yum Soup and Omelette are amazing. Order extensive Thai food via QR code as staff speak little English. Best Tom Yum in Bangkok. Prices low and food quality high. Owner seems lovely.
