I recently had the pleasure of dining at Spice Market at the Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel, and it was hands-down one of the best Thai dining experiences I’ve ever had. This iconic restaurant, truly lives up to its reputation as one of Bangkok’s top spots for traditional flavors with a refined touch. From the moment we sat down, the ambiance felt warm and elegant—dim lighting, beautiful Thai decor, and the subtle aroma of spices in the air set the perfect scene. But what elevated this meal to unforgettable was Chef James. He personally went out of his way to make our evening special, taking the time to understand our preferences and even customizing a few dishes to highlight the freshest ingredients and boldest flavors. The food was exceptional—every dish burst with authentic Thai taste, perfectly balanced between spicy, sour, sweet, and savory. We savored classics like fragrant curries, vibrant stir-fries, and standout specialties that felt both traditional and elevated. It was genuinely the best Thai food one can hope for: vibrant, aromatic, and executed with precision and passion. Chef James’ dedication shone through in every interaction—he didn’t just oversee the kitchen; he delivered a personalized, heartfelt experience that made us feel truly cared for. The service from the entire team was attentive and gracious, complementing the outstanding food. If you’re in Bangkok and craving the real deal in Thai cuisine, Spice Market is a must-visit. Thanks to Chef James and the team, this was a memorable celebration of Thailand’s culinary heritage. Highly recommend—5 stars aren’t enough!

Good Food, excellent services and awesome atmosphere! Whan was our waitress and her excellent service makes us feel comfortable! The restaurant was beautiful. The food was mix of Thai and fusion so I rate the food taste was excellent! We would recommend this restaurant if you stay in the hotel.

Very delicious Thai fusion food. Attentive staffs. Quiet, intimate atmosphere. Prices on the high side.
