Stable Lodge Hotel & Restaurant

Stable Lodge on Sukhumvit Soi 8 is a true Bangkok gem that combines genuine local charm with excellent hospitality. I've been coming here regularly for years and it never fails to delight. The restaurant is the real highlight for me — the Thai food is beautifully executed and authentic, with a cozy garden setting that makes every meal feel special. Their Christmas dinner has become something of an institution, and the festive buffet is thoroughly enjoyable from start to finish. What I love most about Stable Lodge is the warm, personalized service. The staff feel like family and welcome returning guests with genuine warmth. The rooms are well-maintained, comfortable, and have a lovely balcony in the front of the property — perfect for enjoying the quiet atmosphere of Soi 8 while still being just steps from everything Sukhumvit has to offer. The location is unbeatable: close to BTS Nana, great restaurants, and all the amenities you could need. The property has a unique boutique character that stands apart from the big chain hotels. It's clean, well-managed, and represents fantastic value for the location and quality. Whether you're visiting for the restaurant, staying for a few nights, or both, Stable Lodge delivers on all fronts. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a charming, authentic Bangkok experience!

Stable Lodge is a really well run hotel in a fantastic location on Soi 8, Sukhumvit. The bed was super comfy, the bathroom was clean and everything functioned well. There was even decent quality toilet paper unlike many 4 star hotel in Thailand. The swimming pool was excellent, easy to access and clean. The onsite restaurant served a decent range of Western food and drinks. There was no annoying cash deposit which many Thai hotels charge and check-in/checkout were a breeze. The only two slight negatives were that the hotel is ever so slightly dated and there was a slight smell of the previous occupants of the room but it soon dissipated. Also there was a kettle and cups but no tea or coffee provided. Very minor points though and we would definitely stay again.
