For a first visit, allow extra time to find it. Reviewers say the walk passes a fish market and temple grounds, and that parking is hard. Check the bill, as one guest noted an added charge, and expect some wait for food.

Really delicious food with a beautiful view! The staff were also friendly and provided good service. The food took a little while to arrive, and the portions felt quite small considering the price — definitely on the expensive side. Parking is also a bit difficult, and the walk to the restaurant is through a narrow alley that feels a little dirty and cramped.

I recently visited Steve Cafe & Cuisine, a well-known local spot recommended by a friend, and it definitely lived up to the hype. Located right along the beautiful Chao Phraya River, the restaurant offers a relaxing riverside atmosphere that makes the dining experience even more enjoyable. The view alone is worth the visit, especially around sunset. The food was delicious, with authentic Thai flavors that felt both rich and well-balanced. Every dish we tried was satisfying, and you can really tell the kitchen focuses on quality and consistency. What impressed me most was the value for money — the prices are very reasonable considering the location, portion sizes, and overall quality. It’s definitely a great spot whether you’re dining casually or bringing friends from out of town. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for tasty Thai food with a scenic riverside setting.

Nice place to enjoy a beer whilst watching the comings and goings of the river. A little tricky to find having to navigate your way through a wet fish market (very slippery) and temple grounds. We enjoyed a large bottle of local beer at 120 baht but they added some charge at the end, tax or service not sure but bringing the bill into the 130's. . Well worth a visit.
