This studio seems better suited for experienced dancers who want high quality dance videos. As a beginner, I felt the focus was more on filming skilled dancers than on teaching. In group classes where all students pay the same price, beginners are often placed toward the back or corners so they do not affect the overall video, and camera angles can leave them largely blocked or not visible. I use the recorded videos to review my performance and track my progress, which is important for learning. Out of the three trial lessons I attended, only one (Comtemporary by K. Ohm) did not make me feel this way. To be fair and respectful, students’ placement could be rotated unless a student chooses not to be filmed. I was also informed by the admin, rather than the instructor, that I could not join a hip-hop class advertised as "All Levels," as they determine whether a student is capable of following the class. Beginners looking for a more supportive and inclusive learning environment may want to consider other options.
