​If you value authentic Thai flavors, stay far away from this establishment. After touring the country extensively, this was by far the most disappointing meal I’ve encountered. The service from the staff especially the night manager girl was horrendous. ​The Green Curry was completely lacking in depth—essentially a thin, bland liquid with poorly prepared ingredients. Most disappointing, however, was the service. The manager was dismissive and insisted it was "my mistake" for ordering their version of the dish. To be charged 300 baht for inedible food after paying for an overpriced beer is poor business practice.

Beware - If you have even a remote sense of what Thai food should look like, this place will shock you. I have been all over the country over the last couple months and I've had a lot of kaeng khiao wan. I order it almost daily. I've had it in all four corners of the country. The version that they tried to serve me this evening was something that you might see. Some inexperienced person make back home in England on their first try with the wrong ingredients. The food was made with absolutely no love and it was just a watered-down green juice with some uninspiring vegetables and what looked like boiled chicken. Being very hungry, I couldn't even stand to think about eating it. I never complain, but in this scenario I asked kindly if I could please not have this dish and get a refund as it doesn't look anything like dish I've ever had anywhere in Thailand. I showed them pictures on Google of what it's supposed to look like and they agreed that it didn't look like it but that's what they serve. The manager who is very rude proceeded to not give any care to the issue and said that it was my mistake for ordering it. I paid for my overpriced beer at 139 baht. Then she wanted to charge me an extra 300 baht for the food I wasn't going to eat. After her making me feel really bad, she offered to discount it by 20 baht. I felt quite offended. Please I hope this review makes it to you so you can make a better decision. If you want real good food, go down the road to blocks, you'll have to wait in line but it's worth it. The restaurant called Krua Kun Puk. Buyer beware. Stay clear of this place as far as way as you can!!

First dish was ground pork and was inedible. Large crunchy pieces of salt was overpowering. I sent it back and ordered a chicken fried rice. Unfortunately it was really stodgy with little taste. Perhaps I was spoilt in Chiang Mai were the same dishes were superb and probably some of tastiest I've ever had. The bill arrived with a single penny reduction despite or long and I have to say pleasant conversation with the staff where we explained the issues and invited them to try the food, we had untouched most of it.. my pictures show what was sent back. To finish I would like to clarify that I am not in any way a good snob but this food was prepared for the mass market with little to no care given which in contrary to everywhere else we have eaten in Thailand. The service although friendly done nothing to compensate for the poor food. My advice for what it's worth is to look elsewhere and pay heed to guinea reviews.. having just arrived knackered in Bangkok two hours ago we were starving and won't make this mistake again..
