I booked this very last minute for lunch and I was so glad I did! It was an intimate Omakase experience with great service and excellent food. The price was also extremely reasonable for the quality. Our chef was highly talented and engaged with all diners during the service. It was a pleasure to have such amazing food in a calm environment, just a street away from the bustle of Bangkok!

Still the undisputed GOAT of Bangkok omakase. 🍣✨ Every single bite at Sushi Masato feels like it was plucked straight from the ocean—the freshness is actually insane. The presentation is pure art, but the real highlight was finally trying puffer fish for the first time. 🐡 (And yes, I made sure it was prepared to perfection before diving in!) If you’re looking for that top-tier, "melt-in-your-mouth" experience, this is the one.

Sushi Masato is definitely the best sushi restaurant in town. The level is probably comparable to some top sushi restaurants in Tokyo or elsewhere in Japan. The seasonal fish and seafood are top quality, and Masato-san is extremely knowledgeable and has a very special charisma. Difficult to book, but a top destination in Bangkok.
