What a wonderful place and what incredibly warm, knowledgeable staff. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed and expertly guided. The food was outstanding. The pork cheeks were absolutely fantastic rich, tender, and full of deep flavor. The pâté was equally delicious and beautifully prepared. The wine selection deserves special praise. It’s impressively curated and elegantly displayed, featuring a stunning range of German and Austrian wines alongside some truly exceptional Burgundies. We chose a bottle of Spätburgunder, served in a beautiful glass and such attention to detail made the experience even more special. A true gem and highly recommended. We will definitely be back.

Walked pass this place many times and decided to give it a try today. The place offer amazing food and wine. The counter seat is comfortable and even if the place is very small it’s nice and the staffs are so polite and attentive. First we ordered endive salad which is so fresh the cheese on it is creamy and the chili flakes makes it tasty and more Thai style. The chicken liver bite is the best dish ever the taco toast makes it taste better the chicken liver pate is so creamy and yummy. The prawn bite is so mouthful and the prawn is so juicy and seasoned very nicely. The wagyu tartare bites is so so fresh and seasoned so well. The scallop red prawn pasta is amazing with angel hair the seafood is fresh and the light sauce is not too heavy a bit salty and good. The last dish is the iberico beef which is cooked to be soft and tender paired with tasty sauce the veg on the sides is soft and yummy. The prices of this place is so worth it.

Swirl Bar Thonglor has a stylish, intimate atmosphere and a strong wine-focused concept, which initially set high expectations for the evening. Wine selection: We started with a Christine Vernay Viognier “Le Pied de Samson” 2022, which was elegant and enjoyable—floral, balanced, and well-structured. We also had a Vaux Riesling, which was pleasant and easy to drink. However, the second bottle of red wine (Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Font de Crau 2019) was disappointing. It lacked depth and structure, and overall did not drink well for its category or price point. We had to let it decant for a while, still it didn’t settle down. It smells like fish :( Desserts: Unfortunately, this was the weakest part of the experience. • The pudding was far too cakey—dry, not sticky at all, and tasted more like a sponge cake than a proper pudding. • The apple crumble was not crumbly whatsoever, missing both texture and contrast. It lacked the buttery crumble element that defines the dish. Overall, while the wine concept and ambiance are appealing, the desserts were poorly executed, and the red wine selection did not meet expectations. With better consistency in both food execution and wine quality control, Swirl Bar could be much stronger.
