Japanese izakaya in Thonglor known for its rich ramen broth and grilled chicken skin. The Umesu has an unusual, distinctive flavor worth trying. Cozy and casual — a reliable local spot for Japanese comfort food.

The ramen here has a rich, flavorful broth that’s not too heavy. Noodles are cooked just right 👍🏻

I went to this restaurant two months ago. The grilled chicken skin was delicious and the Umesu had a unique flavor.

Negative Reviews
Unfortunately this place was subpar. They were out if a bunch of things, they couldn't understand what we wanted even when pointing at the photo menu (choosing a salted skewer vs. a sauced skewer), the drinks were bad (one was too salty and one wasn't sweet at all), the beef quality of the sando wasn't good, definitely not worth another try,

Too expensive, a bowl of instant noodles costs 299 THB, and a string of beef costs 180 THB

Terrible food quality. The beef sando was poor quality and small for the price. The tomyam ramen tasted exactly like a well known instant noodle (even with similar noodle). Service was slow and a little lost. Disappointing.
