Tam 20 Ratchada – Suthisan

Went here for lunch on the recommendation of a local friend (who owns a restaurant). He likes to bring his friends to the place for beer (which he says is cheaper than 7-11) and live music. As a regular patron, he ordered the dishes for us, the large fish cooked with a coating of salt, the sizzling beef slices, steamed egg topped with seafood, and fried chicken. All the dishes were good and cheap from our foreign perspective. Yes, the dishes did take time to be served but we didn't mind as our group enjoyed conversations pre meal. The staff were friendly and attentive (though mostly speaks Thai so bust out the translation app). Plenty of parking and popular with locals (didn't see other tourists that time). Best to arrive by taxi or private vehicle as it is far away from the MRT.

The food is really good but the portion is on the small size. It's a good place when you are craving for Isan food. There is plenty of off-street parking.
