About

A reliable stop in Chinatown's Yaowarat strip, Bangkok Heritage serves solid Thai plates at fair prices. Portions are generous, service moves quickly, and they keep a vegetarian menu — good for tea and a rest between market stops.

6th visit here over the past 3 years and it never disappoints! While it seems unassuming the food and portions are always solid and great value for the price! Service is quick and attentive and for course friendly and helpful. Their dim sum menu has shrunk a little over the years but all the best hits are there! And now they also have a much larger menu of Chinese dishes that were exactly as advertised! Worth a visit if you’re in Chinatown!

Really nice place in Chinatown to stop for food, tea, and good feeling. It’s so nice that they have a vegetarian menu.

A far cry from the initial days I first visited this restaurant (previously known as Canton House) 10 years ago where locals used to frequent. Restaurant was almost empty when we visited close to dinner time. We then noticed it has just become a 'tourist-stop place' when guides were seen bringing in groups and groups of tourists in. Cooked food was still okay but price has significantly increased too and standard of Dim Sum has dropped a lot. Not sure if I would visit this place again.

This place was one of my least enjoyed experiences that I had in Bangkok. Starting with the sad looking water melon dish compared to what’s on the menu. The combination of watermelon and the condiments just did not work and taste absolutely terrible. Minced pork salad tasted really old and not fresh. Papaya salad had no spice and over sweet. Padthai was also sickly sweet served with a piece of what looks like a rotten bamboo piece seen in the picture. I would not recommend the food but sure it’s in the tourist area and the food is very much geared to European pallet so if that’s what you like then this may be the place for you.
