The Seafood Cafe & Restaurant offers an impressive selection of seafood at very affordable prices. Conveniently located in the heart of Chinatown, just off the main Night Market strip, it turned out to be a perfect alternative when the market itself became overwhelming. The Night Market was absolute mayhem—crowded to the point that finding a table where you could eat comfortably without being bumped into felt impossible. We decided to have dinner here instead, and I’m so glad we did. We ordered the stir-fried grouper, grilled squid, and stir-fried water mimosa. Every dish was a delight—well seasoned, beautifully cooked, and full of flavor. Each bite felt thoughtfully prepared and satisfying. A quick heads-up for future diners: the grilled squid comes with its eggs intact, which have a slightly slimy texture that may not be for everyone. The stir-fried water mimosa can also be quite spicy, but the staff is happy to adjust the heat level—mild, slightly spicy, or not spicy at all—upon request. After dinner, we stepped back into the lively chaos of Chinatown Night Market for dessert and even treated ourselves to a foot massage. It was the perfect ending to a lovely night.

Went for lunch buffet! Food is decent quality & value for money. Buffet is 2hrs but dessert & drinks has no limit. Can be quite cold (full ac blasting) as afternoon not much people. Staffs could be more attentive instead of hiding behind the counter. Sometimes have to wave few times b4 they come over to take order.

Negative Reviews
The chilli salt fried fish was so tender and flavorful. It was not too greasy and fresh. Paired with the green sauce on the side it was a delicious and filling meal. The portion size was also satisfactory and enough to feed 2. The grilled giant prawns were a sizable portion but were not as tender as I would have liked. The mango bay dessert was a subpar take on mango sticky rice. It had a stiff agar agar jelly texture and wasn’t very flavorful.
