The Square

Had dinner at The Square in Bangkok with my relatives and really enjoyed it. It’s a big buffet with lots of Chinese food, dim sum, and seafood, so there’s plenty to choose from. The dim sum was a standout — everything was fresh, soft, and full of flavor, especially their signature items. You could tell it wasn’t just typical buffet dim sum; it actually tasted well made. The seafood was great, especially the prawns and lobster. The prawns were juicy and sweet, and the lobster was tender and flavorful. I liked it so much I went back for multiple rounds, which pretty much says it all. Overall, it’s a solid spot if you’re in the mood to eat well and eat a lot, especially if you love dim sum and seafood. Definitely worth checking out.

Overall very good! The food is overall delicious, there are many options to choose from ranging from Thai, Italian, and Japanese. Desserts are alright, I enjoyed them but I’ve had better. Some of the foods were too salty such as the parma ham on the melon, capers, and smoked salmon. For 999+ Baht it’s a bit of a shame that the only drink included is water. You’d have to pay 140 to get refillable soft drinks, which is not at all worth it.

I recently enjoyed the river prawn buffet at Novotel Siam, and it was an amazing experience! The selection of fresh river prawns and other seafood dishes was impressive, and everything was cooked perfectly. The atmosphere was lively yet comfortable, making it a great spot for both family and friends. I would especially like to compliment K.May, one of the staff members. She was incredibly attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. Her excellent service truly made our dining experience even more special. Highly recommended — I’ll definitely come back again!
