  Unbelievable! Tucked away in Soi Somdet Chao Phraya 13, there's this absolutely charming restaurant right by the Chao Phraya River. It was my first time visiting, and I was completely won over. Walking down a small alley, you'd never expect to find such a magical spot—it felt like stepping into a fairytale world. If you love vintage style, serene gardens with big trees, and a prime riverside location, this is your place. I celebrated my birthday here, and it was a truly happy time, made even more special by the beautiful Christmas decorations. The architecture is fascinating, built with genuine old imported steel structures that give it a full-on vintage, timeless charm. The menu offers both Thai and Italian dishes. They bake their own cakes, with plenty to choose from, especially during the day when it's a café. Sipping tea here feels so peaceful, like being at a countryside café. The overall vibe is retro-English. The Thai food is delicious and bold, using great ingredients. I highly recommend the Tom Kha Gai (chicken in coconut soup), Squid with Salted Egg Yolk, and the Salmon Yum—a fusion dish done perfectly, enjoyable for both locals and foreigners. For Italian, the Fish & Chips is a great, easy option even for kids. They use fresh barramundi, and the vegetables are incredibly fresh. The Grilled Barramundi Steak with Mashed Potatoes is also excellent. The BBQ Spare Ribs are a huge portion for just 380 THB, enough to share between three people! Italian dishes start around 350+ THB, and each serving is generous, perfect for sharing. They also have some great fusion items. Drinks? They have a huge selection! Cocktails, tea, matcha, signature drinks... Sitting under the trees with a cool breeze, you can forget the busy city and just breathe in the fresh air. Note: If you bring an outside cake, there's a 100 THB charge, but birthday celebrants get a 10% discount! My tip: just pick one of their delicious cakes on-site—they provide candles and everything. This place is truly a hidden gem in Bangkok. At night, there's live music, making it wonderfully relaxing. By day, it's a perfect café. It's also an ideal spot for special occasions or for international visitors, thanks to the diverse menu and stunning river views. Service is excellent—attentive, caring, and the food comes out quickly. I was very impressed with my birthday celebration. There are tons of photo spots and beautiful decorations, a dream for anyone who loves taking pictures or writing reviews. Don't miss the spiral staircase leading to a riverside viewpoint—it's straight out of a fairytale. They've only been open for four years but are doing an amazing job. I will definitely be back and highly recommend this wonderful place!

  We came to Tsai Eatery after visiting the charming and relaxing Princess Mother Memorial Park and we're glad we did. This lovely restaurant on the river is a destination in itself, with great food, service , decor, and drinks. We also enjoyed the October Halloween decorations! -- Bravo! We had crab curry with crab fried rice for our lunch, which were both delicious & terrific together. We said Wow each time they delivered our drinks, and the desert we split was scrumptious. The staff are friendly and service was fast. We ordered and connected in English and Thai. There are so many delicious items on the menu, we can't wait to come back. Selections include traditional Thai and international choices. I hope the photos of the decor and Halloween decorations come thru, truly magical - amazing Thailand, we blissfully chilled here watching the boats after lunch. It's a ~15 minute walk from the restaurant to the Phra Pakklao Bridge and the Chao Phraya Skypark. The staff also recommended another garden for us to see next door. Leaving with smiles - we're heading there next... Enjoy!

  Nice river view with amazing decorations. Seems to be a great spot to plan a cozy wedding party by the river. The food was okay overall, but some of the Thai dishes were a little too spicy.

  We had our team dinner here. The place is pretty as its beside the river. But i must say, the food is average only. And its quite far out from Bangkok as well. Unless youre in the area, dont need to make a trip down to this place.

  I tried a mix of dishes at Tsai Eatery, including spaghetti, quesadilla, pork ribs, and prawns in chilli and salt. The food was decent overall, and parking was easy, which was a plus. The only downside was that everything came out at nearly the same time, so a couple of items cooled off before I could really enjoy them.
