Venezia Italian Restaurant

Came to this restaurant because I had a craving for a good Italian meal and chose it based on some reviews. I ordered the prawn appetizer to start and it was excellent. Spicy and the prawns cooked well in a nice sauce. I was going to order a seafood fettuccine meal until I asked the waiter to make sure it was “al dente “ and looked at me like I had two heads . Thought a place that calls themselves an Italian restaurant would understand a basic term of cooking Italian pasta. So i explained what it meant and then tells me that most of the pasta dishes have the pasta parboiled and then finished off when ordered. Also not what i want to hear from an Italian restaurant. Nonetheless, i changed my order to the ravioli. Thought it would be a better choice considering my recent discussion . The ravioli with bolognese were good but about average. A note about the table..the tablecloth was dirty and not sure the last time it was changed. It’s obvious they don’t change it after a customer leaves as I saw the staff on two occasions just wipe away crumbs and set the table again. This is understandable if the tablecloth is clean but mine was somewhat disgusting. I’ve included a picture…. and the stains are not from my eating.
