I recently had the chance to dine using a MasterCard privilege in 2026. The promotion allowed us to choose 2 out of 3 set menus: Nigiri Sushi Gozen, Snow Fish with Miso, and Beef Shougayaki Gozen. We selected the Snow Fish with Miso and the Beef Shougayaki Gozen. Although the portion size per set was not very large, the taste was truly excellent. The ingredients were high quality, and each dish was prepared beautifully, especially the fish and the beef. There was also a refillable drink option, with both hot and cold green tea available, and you could choose either one and enjoy unlimited refills. It paired perfectly with the Japanese dishes and added great value to the meal. Even though the seating area felt a bit crowded, the staff provided outstanding service. They were polite, attentive, and genuinely caring, which made the overall dining experience very impressive. I was truly pleased with this restaurant and would definitely come back again.

I always enjoy visiting this Japanese restaurant, as the food is incredibly fresh, the atmosphere is pleasant, and the flavors are delightful. I have had the pleasure of trying numerous dishes, including sashimi, tempura, noodles, donburi, and dessert, and each one has been truly impressive. The prices are also quite reasonable considering the high quality of the food, and I would highly recommend it.

Unfortunately, I’m limited to a 5-star rating on this platform—if I could give more, I absolutely would. My family and I are regular customers of Yamazato, and we all agree that it’s one of the best Japanese restaurants in Bangkok. The quality of the ingredients is consistently exceptional—always fresh and delicious. The craftsmanship in both cooking and plating each dish is truly impressive. The service is equally outstanding; the staff are attentive from the moment you walk in, and the overall atmosphere is warm and refined. Everything is top-notch, and we’ve never had a reason to complain. One of our favorites is the giant sushi rolls, generously filled with a variety of seafood and vegetables in every bite. The tempura is also a standout—crispy, flavorful, and never overly salty. The shared mixed sushi platter is not only beautifully presented but also offers a delightful range of flavors from each distinct type of seafood. And the Unagi Don—delicate river eel grilled to perfection, glazed with their signature sauce, and served over steaming Japanese white rice—is simply delicious.
