Assumption University

A few years ago, I had the opportunity to be a guest speaker on the hotel industry and strategic management for master's degree students at Assumption University in Bangkok. It was an incredible experience to engage with such bright minds and share insights from my own journey in the hospitality sector. The students were eager to learn and asked thought-provoking questions that deepened our discussions. During the lecture, I focused on the evolving trends in the hotel industry, emphasizing the importance of adaptability and innovation in strategic management. We explored how technology and sustainability are reshaping guest expectations, and I highlighted successful case studies of hotels that have embraced these changes. The energy in the room was palpable as students shared their ideas and visions for the future. It was inspiring to witness their passion and commitment to making a positive impact in the industry. After the session, many students approached me with further questions and sought advice on their career paths, which was both humbling and rewarding. Overall, the experience not only allowed me to impart knowledge but also to learn from the fresh perspectives of the next generation of leaders in hospitality. It was a reminder of the collaborative nature of education and the mutual growth that occurs when knowledge is shared.

I attended MBA in 2005-2007 at AU. Nothing like before. Many moms and pops shops around the area are closed down, school are quite may be mainly because of the old campus as well as because of the social distancing rules. But I still love the atmosphere. Miss my old days.

This is the first international university of Thailand. Now , is very quiet and pretty good for reading. 50 years is not the same . -- Service is good . 10/10 -- Bookstore 10/10 -- Church is very peaceful for my mind 10/10.
