September 27, 2025 – Final class with the excellent teacher Aon My fair evaluation is as follows: Jentana (Owner): 0/5 Her Assistant: 0/5 Teacher Aon: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) – Excellent Teacher Care: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) – Excellent I had sincerely hoped to raise my earlier review from 2 to 5 stars, encouraged by the dedication of the teachers. Unfortunately, the owner’s behavior not only prevented this but also erased the 2 stars I had previously given. The main issue lies in poor communication and unprofessional handling of payments and receipts. After paying online, I was left waiting unnecessarily for confirmation, denied an immediate receipt, and even asked—through WhatsApp—to return another day after traveling by taxi to the school. These actions created stress and eroded trust. Even more troubling is that students are not allowed to communicate directly with their teachers. There are only two ways—no third at all: either through Ms. Jentana herself or her assistant, who strictly enforces the rules dictated by the owner. This rigid, money-centered system is highly unappreciable and harms the learning experience. The teachers are outstanding and deserve full recognition. Sadly, their efforts are overshadowed by management that prioritizes control and profit over student trust. Review of Jentana & Associates School (After 13.5 Hours of Study) I completed 13.5 hours at Jentana & Associates School. Unfortunately, 1.5 hours were lost due to very poor planning by the assistant. Management Overall, the management is highly money-oriented and centralized. The school does not welcome complaints, and refunds are not considered once payment is made. I urge Ms. Jentana, the owner, to reconsider this approach and adopt a fair, win-win policy that benefits both the school and the student. • Jentana (Owner): 2/5 stars While Ms. Jentana is a kind person, she places complete and unquestioned trust in her assistant and does not allow direct discussion of problems with students. During one incident when the assistant raised her voice at me, Ms. Jentana chose not to intervene, which created a disappointing and humiliating experience. I appreciate Mr. Jentana, the owner, sending recording clips to clarify correct pronunciation and enhance vocabulary. Teaching Quality • Ms. Orn (Teacher): 5/5 stars (*) An outstanding teacher who deserves full appreciation. She knows how to teach absolute beginners with patience, professionalism, and respect. Ms. Orn is the strongest asset of the school. Assistant Performance • Assistant: 0/5 stars The assistant lacks basic planning and communication skills. She scheduled a class on a public holiday (August 12, 2025), causing unnecessary confusion. When I expressed my concerns, she shouted at me instead of handling the matter professionally. This behavior is unacceptable, particularly toward foreign students who come to learn Thai with respect and seriousness. Final Note Jentana & Associates has potential thanks to teachers like Ms. Orn. However, unless management adopts a more student-oriented approach and the assistant undergoes serious improvement in communication and planning, the school risks losing the trust of its students.
