The location is cozy and pleasantly off the beaten track, adding to the charm. A definite highlight and a must-visit on your journey.

I had an absolutely amazing experience at Joyce’s Thai cooking class Mahanakorn in Bangkok. Joyce is incredibly kind, warm, and welcoming — she instantly makes you feel comfortable and at home. I was lucky enough to be the only participant, and she even adapted the entire class to be fully vegan, which meant so much to me and was done with so much care and enthusiasm. The atmosphere was relaxed, personal, and fun, and the food was outstanding. Joyce explains everything clearly, shares a lot of knowledge about Thai cuisine, and you can really feel her passion for cooking and teaching. This was honestly one of the best cooking class experiences I’ve ever had, and I’m so happy I chose this course over all the others in Bangkok. If you’re looking for an authentic, personal, and high-quality Thai cooking class — vegan or not — I can’t recommend Mahanakorn and Joyce enough. 🌱🇹🇭

We highly recommend the cooking class with Joyce. We learned a lot, had a lot of fun, and tasted amazing food. Joyce is such a nice and person, it’s a pleasure learning from her. She explained the spices and the ingredients of the Thai cuisine by trying and tasting them together. The cooking was so much fun and the dishes were delicious. You can combine the food experience by visiting the big Buddha and the temple before or after the class.
