This is both a fun and informative cooking experience. Chef Nam is kind, funny, patient, and so expert in explaining and preparing the Thai dishes (soup, pad Thai, curry, mango sticky rice). We had a great time, made friends with the others taking part, and the food was excellent. Preparing Thai food in a traditional way helped me to appreciate the great care and cultural reasons for the flavors prevalent in some of my favorite food. We had a vegetarian in our group and Nam was instantly able to adapt all of the dishes to exclude meat products while still tasting delicious. 110% would recommend to anyone interested in Thai cuisine or culture and you don’t need to be a good cook to take part (I’m a terrible cook). Will be recommending to all of my friends and visitors to Bangkok

I had an incredible experience at Siamese Cookery House in Bangkok on Sunday, February 22, 2026. This hands-on class truly teaches you the secrets behind authentic Thai recipes. We began the day at Huai Khwang Market, learning how to choose the best ingredients for Thai dishes. Walking through the market was a full sensory experience — the aromas of fish, chicken, fresh herbs, and vegetables filled the air. We even watched fresh shredded coconut being made right in front of us. After gathering our ingredients, we hopped into a tuk tuk and headed to the cooking school, which made the experience even more fun and local. In a traditional Thai-style kitchen, we learned how to properly cook Thai rice for mango sticky rice, make fresh coconut milk, and prepare tamarind paste from scratch. Our menu included: Tom Yum Goong (Thailand’s famous spicy-sour national dish) Pad Thai (the classic noodle favorite) Thai curry with homemade curry paste made completely from scratch Mango sticky rice — and ours was beautifully blue using natural blue flowers The food was incredibly flavorful, colorful, and aromatic. Everything ran smoothly, and the host made the class feel relaxed, natural, and fun. They even customize dishes if you don’t eat certain things, which I appreciated. You also receive a recipe book to take home, so you can recreate everything yourself. This experience went above and beyond my expectations. From selecting ingredients at the market to cooking multiple dishes in an authentic setting, it was a true Thai culinary experience. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bangkok.

Today was a wonderful and memorable experience. We had the opportunity to join a Thai cooking class with international colleagues from many countries. Our lovely instructor, Kru Kung taught us how to cook famous Thai dishes including Tom Yum Goong, Pad Thai with shrimp, Massaman chicken curry and mango sticky rice. They provided ingredients for Vegans as well. Everything was incredibly delicious and the class helped us understand Thai ingredients and cooking techniques very clearly. We feel confident that we can use this knowledge to cook Thai food at home in the future. It was an excellent class filled with fun, learning and great flavors. We truly enjoyed every moment and highly recommend this experience to anyone who loves Thai food and culture. Recommend who would learn Thai cooking class come here. Big thanks again for Kru Kung and team. ❤️🙏
